Covid-19 Safety Protocols

Keep yourself and your loved ones healthy!

We at Bright Starr Pediatric Dentistry want to ensure the health and safety of our staff, our patients and their families. With that in mind we have been working endlessly to make sure every visit within our practice is as safe as possible. With the recommendations from CDC, OSHA and ADA we meet and exceed all guidelines and will continue to adjust in this NEW normal.

Our goal is to continue to create a fun and loving environment for your children and peace-of –mind for parents during this time. We always welcome any questions and to address all concerns.

We are your dental family and are committed to serve! Here are just a few detailed steps we are taking to ensure a safety visit for your child(ren)!

Advanced Safety Training

Each member of our team has completed additional awareness and prevention programs to enhance their knowledge and preparedness.

Daily Health Checks for our Team

No contact temperature checks and a quick set of questions will ensure our team is ready, willing and able to provide safe dental care every day.

Safety Champion

Each day, one person will be designated to guide our Commitment to Safety. This includes greeting patients, answering questions, ensuring social distancing, and overall monitoring

No Handshakes or Hugs

We truly love our patients. However, we will save our hearty welcomes and goodbyes for a later date when things are “back to normal”.

Personal Hygiene Standards

All staff will have short hair or wear bonnets, no long fingernails, no jewelry, are to be worn for any team member

Masks Must Be Worn

Please when entering office be sure to wear a mask if you or your child does not have one it will be provided to you at our check-in station.

Change Work Clothes at Work

In the past, you might have seen us at the grocery store in our stylish scrubs. No longer. Now we change into and out of our newly-cleaned scrubs at the office, every day!

Hand Sanitizing Station

Every patient will be asked to thoroughly disinfect their hands before entering the clinical area of our practice.

Pre-screening of every patient and Parent

A quick heath questionnaire and consent form along with a no-touch temperature check will be completed when you arrive at our office

Social Distancing in Place

Fewer chairs in our reception area, helpful signs and one-way traffic to our treatment area make 6 feet spacing a practical reality.

Virtual Waiting Room via (VIP Car service)

Now you can check-in from your car with our new text service. As a result, you are able to minimize contact with others, bypass the waiting room and go directly to your treatment room

New Patient Forms

We have advanced our approach in making forms accessible and convenient in our website. Please before coming to your first appointment complete forms in the comfort of your home

No Patient Gloves Allowed

Minimizing cross-contamination is an important part of our plan. We will ask you to dispose of any outside gloves before you enter.

Payment Considerations

To limit the amount of direct contact with our staff we are also taking credit card payments for co-pays over the phone. Or join our annual membership for non-insured to make your visit a breeze.

Expanded Patient Appointments

In an effort to save you time and multiple visits, we are offering extended appointments. This allows us to do more dentistry in a single visit.

Sequenced Patient Scheduling

Plain and simple, we are not seeing as many patients. We are allocating more time between visits for coming, going and cleaning.

Family Friendly Scheduling

We are now able to see up to 6 family members during the same visit. It is almost like your own private dental experience.

Front Desk Masks

Even our friendly administrative team will be wearing ASTM Level 2 masks . Don’t worry We are still smiling!

Cleaning After Every Appointment

We are super clean as we thoroughly wipe, sanitize, and disinfect all instruments, equipment and surfaces in each operatory/chair after every patient.

Face Shields

For certain procedures using aerosols our clinical team will also protect you and themselves through face shields with cute animal designs!

Say Farewell to Toys, books and Coffee

This may make our reception area a little less exciting, but it makes it a little more safer as well.

Disposable, Protective Coats and Hats

When appropriate, our team will utilize another layer of protection to minimize the spread or absorption of airborne particles.

Say Hello Cleaner Air

Our air will be cleaner. You will see in multiple areas stand alone air-purifying systems to make it a cleaner place

N95 Masks and Level 3 Masks

The beautiful smiles of our clinical team – dentist, hygienists, and assistants – will be protected behind double-masking at all times
